I'm Loving that December is tomorrow and the house is decorated inside. All that is missing is a nice Christmas candle.

I'm Loving the new gel eyeliner I recently purchased. I am not a pro with the liquid eyeliner so therefore the small brush makes it really easy for the gel eyeliner to glide perfectly on your eye. You must try it!!

I'm Loving ABC's Revenge on Wednesday nights!! This show is filled with suspense! If you haven't seen it, all I have to say is we wouldn't want to make Emily mad!

And of course...

I'm Loving this little furbaby!! She is our entertainment sometimes and keeps my legs warm in this chilly weather!

And I'm Loving the most amazing boyfriend!! He encourages me when I need that extra motivation and supports me in all I do. I am so blessed to have him in my life.

Wally World Finds

Hope everyone had a great Monday!! 

I hope I hear something soon about a job because this cold weather is making me want to stay in bed and drink a cup of hot chocolate.

Well today I had to make a trip to good ol’ Wally World for a few things. This past weekend I ran out of eyeliner, go figure!! My sister mentioned I try gel eyeliner, so that is what I scooped up today. The one I purchased was Maybelline Lasting Drama in Charcoal (954).  Have you tried Gel Eyeliner? If so, what do you think of it and do you recommend a different brand?

Shimmer nude lipstick and Gel Eyeliner

I also have been searching for two nude colors by Revlon that I found on Pinterest. (see picture below) I looked around today at Wally World and didn’t find them so hopefully I can search Target this week and see if I find them. While I was looking though, I found this lipstick that looked nude with a shimmer. It’s Maybelline Sugared Almond (745), the color is really pretty and I love the shimmer. When I got home I tried it on and It looks a little weird on me. I am still going to continue my search for Pinterest inspired colors and see how I like those. Do you have a favorite nude lipstick or lip-gloss that you love? If so, I would love to hear your recommendations.

Thanksgiving Weekend Recap

Hello everyone!!

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your loved ones.

Larry and I enjoyed our Thanksgiving with family in San Antonio.  Our plans were to spend some time with Larry’s family and then spend some time with my family as well. I am glad we finally got to see all our family this trip.

We watched the game with friends that went to A&M and one person that was a UT fan. (If you are an Aggie you know how it is when a “t-shirt” fan is around. Ha). It was the last game that A&M and UT will play for at least 18 years. (Don’t you think it’s crazy that UT doesn’t want to continue this 117 year long tradition with A&M?)   All in all it was a great game and a great Thanksgiving even though we lost 27-25.

On Friday, we went to visit my great-grandmother for a little while and then we went to visit my dad. He fried some wings and fries for dinner and my sisters and mom came by as well to hang out and eat with us. My dad bought some wing sauce from Buffalo Wild Wings that he used for the wings and I have to recommend Asian Zing for your wings if you happen to be at BWW. It was great having dinner with my family before we got back on the road.

Saturday night I started decorating the house. I have to say I miss our old apartment and the fireplace. The current townhome we are renting has a weird layout which I absolutely hate! Since it is pretty cold outside, I put Lexi in her Christmas sweater and she wasn’t too happy about that. (See pictures below)

Now time for What I'm Loving Wednesday!!

I'm Loving that today God has blessed me with 25 years of health and the most amazing people that have come in my life.

I'm Loving that tomorrow is Thanksgiving and we get to spend it with family and friends!

I'm Loving that I will be seeing my old roomie today when we arrive in San Antonio!

I'm Loving that my Great-grandma is still here with us and has been here to share in all my milestones. 

And Finally, I'm Loving my wonderful boyfriend L!  He has been in my life and helped me grow as a person physically and emotionally.  He truly is a blessing in my life and I am so thankful for all he has done these past couple of months!!

Weekend Recap

Friday night we went to a Birthday dinner for one of L's co-workers. We enjoyed a yummy dinner at Los Cucos here in Houston. I have meet most of his co-workers and their wives/girlfriends so it was great being able to hang out with them and socialize especially since I am not working so I only socialize with Lexi. :) We had a great night with everyone and we look forward to hanging out with everyone again. 


Saturday A&M played Kansas. Let me just say it was a good game, we beat Kansas 61-7.  The Corps of Cadets also formed a Block T during halftime. This has been the first time since 1956 that this has been done. Take a look at the video below.  

I also got an exciting text last night from one of my close college roommates. It read "We're Engaged!!!" I am so excited for Megan and Kevin and I can't wait till the wedding. Megan and I met while we were on a trip in New Orleans. Larry and Megan's date at the time are in the same fraternity. We both just started taking and it so happened I was planning on moving to College Station and we both needed a roommate. We have been really good friends since. I am so glad to have Megan as a friend and I can't wait till her big day. Congratulations again Megan and Kevin!!

Today I am cleaning and glad that I have the most wonderful person in my life. I am so thankful for the most Amazing boyfriend I get to spend each day with. We have been through so much over these past 8 years and some how we always find ways to iron everything out. He has done so much for me and their is no way I can thank him for how much he has sacrificed for me. He is currently the one taking care of everything while I am still looking for a job. I am so grateful for him and everything he does for me. He has been my rock, my best friend, and my shoulder to cry on when I need someone to talk to. I am so glad God brought us together and has held us together through all that we have faced. I look forward to what the future has in store for the both of us. I love him with all my heart!

Well that is our weekend recap. Oh yeah, my birthday is in 3 days...AHHH I will be 25!! Yikes, it's scary to think that I will be a quarter of a century. We will be taking a trip back to San Antonio this week for Thanksgiving. Hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
