Oh How Pinteresting: Maternity Picture Edition

I have been wanting to take maternity pictures before my baby shower and here are some ideas I had in mind. I hope that this Texas weather is nice like it was today when I decide to take some pictures. I'm hoping it's not too early to take pictures, I know baby girl still have a lot of growing to do.

When is an ideal time to take maternity pictures? 

Random Monday

I have been trying my best to get back to blogging. I sure do miss it, so I thought I would share some random facts about myself.

Anyone else terrified of clowns? I sometimes hate Halloween for this reason. 

12 Weeks and Counting.....

I first saw this on Michelle's blog and thought it was too cute!! 
She told her story of how her husband reacted when they found out they were expecting. Recently, I have been counting down the weeks till Baby Girl gets here and when I told R Baby Girl would be here in 12 weeks this is how he reacted.....

Shocked

Nervous

Excited

I was cracking up laughing when he slapped his hands over his face and asked me to repeat myself. Mind you, he was completely caught off guard in the kitchen so he started jumping and dancing around!! 

Love, I'm sure your reading this and I just want you to know that you are already a wonderful partner and awesome daddy to Baby Girl and she is not even here yet. I'm looking forward to the both of us experiencing parenthood together. Time is flying by, and I'm enjoying life with you so much and I can't wait till we can share our new life with our little princess. I love you with all my heart and can't wait to see what the future has in store for our little family. 

Nursery Insperations

We have 3 more months till Baby Girl makes her appearance into this world and I have an idea of what I want her nursery to be like but we just don't have an extra room for her right now. 

I'm currently living in a 1 bedroom apartment and there is absolutely now way on earth that all 3 of us will fit comfortably in here with baby furniture. We are looking into getting another apartment for now and my lease is up on March 31st so I'm hoping to be moved out and settled sometime by the first week of April. We also considered staying with R's parents for 2 months while we adjust to baby, but I really just like having my own privacy and space. I will keep you posted on what we decide!

This is what I have in mind for Baby Girl's nursery when we get the extra room:

This is the crib her Nana purchased for her

My Father purchased this dresser for her without the mirror

I had something like this idea in mind for the wall and the changing table/dresser area

I just love these curtains 

This is the theme I'm going with and would like to have her name on the wall by her crib

I want to get this made for her room once she arrives

I would love a rocker like this as well!! Not sure if R would agree on it!!

I'm thinking of painting just an accent wall with a soft green, not as bright as the one above and if not maybe a tan color to balance out all the pink. I have been looking on Etsy and have so many things that I plan on getting, just waiting to see what type of room I will have to work with. 

I can't believe we only have about 12 more weeks before we get to meet Baby Girl!! Time sure has flown by rather quickly. Now, I have to look forward to baby showers, moving, and preparing for our sweet little one!

24-25 Bump Update

Happy Tuesday!! This week is going by so slow. I guess it's because the holidays are over and work has slowed back down. I'm so glad it has slowed down though, I was starting to loose my mind with all the craziness and was getting tired of working long shifts. 

I keep telling myself I need to get on the computer and blog, but my energy level is so low. Baby girl is taking my energy, see is pretty active all day. I am going to make a goal to blog everyday and get back into my bump updates. Here is the last two updates!

I know we are already in January, but here is my 24th week update! It was around Christmas time, so bare with me on the huge delay. We spent Christmas at R's parents house and then went home since the weather was pretty crazy. 

24 weeks 6 days

How far along? 25 Weeks 

Total weight gain:  10 lbs so far... I'm glad with my weight gain so far, it's all baby!! 

Maternity clothes? It's still a mix of pre-pregnancy clothes and maternity clothes. 

Stretch marks? Noticed another one on the girls so two so far 
Sleep: I have trouble falling asleep but once I fall asleep I'm out. I usually just get up to use the restroom around 5am.
Best moment this week: Baby girl kicking every time R kisses my belly before work or when he gets home. 

Miss Anything? Not really!
Movement:  She is a dancer! Baby Girl is always active during the day, especially when I finally sit down and relax after work.
Food cravings:  Still the usual fruit and cream soda
Anything making you queasy or sick: The smell of popcorn popping, especially at work... YUCK!! 
Gender: Baby Girl  

Labor Signs:  No labor signs for a long while

Symptoms: Leg cramps... and O-M-G do those things hurt. I use to get them when I was in dance team in high school, and was not expecting for them to be back. Lower back pain every now and then. I noticed this happens after those long, crazy days at work

Belly Button in or out? Still an innie but it feels like it might be going to an outtie soon
Wedding Aggie ring on or off?  Aggie Ring still fits
Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy, excited, nervous!! I can't believe we are getting closer to her arrival

Looking forward to: Hopefully being able to see Baby Girl on a sonogram next visit

Thoughts:

I have been so nervous, and excited. I have excited that my baby shower is coming up in February and then Baby Girls arrival in April. I am nervous, well because I have so many different thoughts running through my head and so much we have to get.  I know all the crazy thoughts are typical for new moms. I'm sure we will get everything we need and done before she makes her appearance  but I'm just being a new mom right?? Freaking out about any little thing!
