Nail Polish Swap

Howdy everyone,


Sorry I have been MIA in the last few weeks but so much has gone on in my life. Don't worry though, I will catch y'all up soon enough.


When I read Jenn from Perfectly Imperfectly and Whitney were hosting a nail polish swap I knew I had to sign up for it. My nails used to be short, I would bite them all the time. Recently in the last 3 months or so, I haven't had the urge to bite them and they are getting long.

I was so excited to shop for Amanda, I went a little crazy as usual. Amanda got some pretty amazing colors so make sure you go check out her blog. I love the colors she sent me!

I'm so happy that I can finally polish my natural nails, and thanks again Amanda for the lovely polishes. 

I'm hoping to continue to blog daily again, I still don't have internet at my apartment and I dread coming to Starbucks all the time since I do see the place daily. haha

Nail Files #3

Happy Friday!! 
This week has flown right by me, and before you know it February with fly right by as well.
Today I'm linking up with Tara and Vicki for The Nail Files. I didn't get a chance to linkup last week so here is how I had my nails last week. 

Warning: My nails have started breaking and my cuticles are horrible since I am constantly washing them and opening boxes every now and then! Ugh

I recently purchased Wet n' Wild Fast dry and I'm loving how fast they seriously dry. I'm pretty bad about waiting patiently for my nails to try and I end up messing them up.

The colors that I used are:

Wet n' Wild- How I Met Your Magenta (233C)

Accent Nail: NYC Starry Silver Glitter (105)

Weekend Recap

Happy Monday!! 

This month seems to have flown right past me. Christmas is in 5 days, CRAZY right!? I doing a quick weekend recap as well as a linkup with Savanah. 

On Saturday I spent my day watching Lifetime Christmas movies in bed with Lexi. Well, not the whole day. I eventually got my behind out of bed and went to Walgreens. One of L's cousin graduated on Friday so we needed to get him a card. I also looked at the nail polish! Of course, I had to get a green color for Christmas.

On Sunday, we went to one of L's cousins for a graduation celebration. One of L's cousins recently graduated from the University of Houston on Friday. I refer to "one of the cousins" because L has WAY to many cousins to count. I probably haven't met everybody and we have been together for 8 years. haha I know, CRAZY!!

We had yummy barbecue with all the fixings and of course cake. (I forgot to take pictures, I am such a horrible blogger!) I have to say, everything was so good we might have gone back for seconds. Oh, and even had more than 1 piece of cake. 

It was a great weekend being lazy and spending time with L's family. I hope you had a great weekend.
